I've re-discovered the wonder attached to written letters. Albeit, it's not as fast as email, but the romance each piece of paper packs makes up for the wait, seven-fold. (ha, fold, ya get it? Paper? Fold? walka walka walka...)
Alright, all lameness aside, I encourage you to start writing letters. It's taken me a long time to get back into the swing of things, which admittedly, I'm not actually IN the swing but in front of it, but the few I've written and received recently are enough to keep me going far into next year. I'm thinking of starting a letter writing guild, where people get together with their stationary and just write letters. I wonder who would actually be interested in something like that other than me........
People get together to knit, don't they? Writing is just as exciting as knitting, so why not?

Day 105-121: Post-vacay syndrome...
I had a fabulous trip. When I got home, my best friend stayed with me for a week. Now, it's just me again. At first, maybe for the first few hours, it was a relief, but at this point I realize I don't want to live by myself anymore. The best part of my trip was being around the people. Yes, the sights were lovely, and I fell in love with Chicago all over again, but really, I enjoyed the community the most.
So where do I go from here? It's a complete mystery.
